BABA-W (09988.HK) and MasterCard (MA.US) are launching a co-branded US credit card, Business Edge, this year with an annual fee of US$199 in a bid to encourage purchases from small businesses on BABA-W's e-commerce platform. Holders of the Business Edge Credit Card can choose between a 3% cash rebate or 60-day interest-free payment terms for purchases not exceeding US$40,000 on Alibaba.com, with up to 90 days to request a refund.
