<HK Home>RVD: HK Jun Private Residential Property Price Index Falls 1.2% MoM, Logging Over-7.5-Yr Low since Sep 2016

Hong Kong's Private Residential Property Price Index shed to 301.8 in June, down 1.2% MoM, ebbing for two consecutive months, sinking below the trough (302.4) before spicy measure withdrawal and hitting the trough of more than seven and a half years since September 2016, according to the Rating and Valuation Department (RVD). On a YoY basis, it fell 13.1%, marking a cumulative decline of 24.2% compared to the historical high in September 2021 (398.1).

Hong Kong's Private Residential Rental Index continued to rise to 189 in June, hiking for four consecutive months, with a MoM increase of about 0.16%, and setting a four-and-a-half-year high since December 2019. On a YoY basis, it also rose by about 4.5%.
