Hong Kong stocks opened higher in the morning. HSI opened 43 points or 0.3% higher at 17,679, while HSCEI opened 12 points or 0.2% higher at 6,266. HSTECH opened 23 points or 0.7% higher at 3,634.

LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) and NIO-SW (09866.HK) opened rising 1.4% and 1.8%, while XPENG-W (09868.HK) opened lifting 3.7%. Berkshire Hathaway reduced its stake again in BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) to below 5%, and BYD opened 0.4% down at $245.

For tech stocks, BABA-SW (09988.HK), TENCENT (00700.HK), XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), JD-SW (09618.HK), BIDU-SW (09888.HK), NTES-S (09999.HK), and KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) elevated 0.3% to 0.8% at open. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) opened 0.2% lower at $121.1.

In financials, HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK) opened 0.1% higher at $67.2, while HKEX (00388.HK) and AIA (01299.HK) opened inclining 0.3% and 0.8%. PING AN (02318.HK) completed the issuance of US$3.5 billion convertible bonds, and its shares opened escalating 0.4% at $34.8.

TVB (00511.HK) expected its interim EBITDA to turn positive, and its shares opened hiking 8.1% at $3.32. CHINA COMM CONS (01800.HK) said it is exploring the promotion of multiple dividends per year, and its shares opened 0.5% higher at $4.45.
