The price of Bitcoin once busted below US$54,000, bottoming at US$53,700.72, logging a new low in more than four months. According to Coindesk, the latest price was US$54,213.85, a 7.7% slide in the past 24 hours. Ethereum last posted at US$2,874.52, down 10.98% over the past 24 hours.

The three HK-listed Bitcoin EFTs descended. CAM BTC (03042.HK) closed at $6.92 at midday, down 5.53%, with 9.4633 million shares traded, involving $66.7869 million. BOS HSK BTC (03008.HK) closed at $43.12 at midday, down 4.9%, with 73,600 shares traded, involving $3.2305 million. HGI BTC (03439.HK) closed at $6.93 at midday, down 4.74%, with 1.4104 million shares traded, involving $9.8883 million.
