CN To Hike Gasoline, Diesel Prices from Early Morning

Based on the recent changes in oil prices in the international market and in accordance with the prevailing price formation mechanism for refined oil products, the prices of gasoline and diesel in Mainland China will be raised by RMB210 and RMB200 per ton respectively from 24:00 today (27th), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said. The three major oil companies, namely PetroChina, Sinopec and CNOOC, as well as other crude oil processors, should organize the production and transportation of refined oil products to ensure a stable supply in the market, and strictly enforce the national pricing policy. Relevant departments in different regions should step up market supervision and inspection, and strictly investigate and deal with non-execution of the national pricing policy, so as to maintain the normal market order.
