HSI Co. Welcomes HKEX Initiative to Continue Normal Trading During Severe Weather

The Hang Seng Indexes Company (HSIL) expressed support for the latest initiative announced by HKEX (00388.HK) to implement Severe Weather Trading in securities and derivatives markets which will take effect from 23 September 2024, the HSIL said. The HSIL will ensure that all related infrastructure and operational arrangements are in place to maintain the calculation of its indexes and the real-time index data dissemination during related severe weather conditions, the HSIL added.
