SENSETIME-W Once Spikes 20% on Resumption; 'SenseNova 5.0' AI Model Launched

SENSETIME-W (00020.HK) opened up 17.5% on trading resumption this morning (25th). It peaked at $0.96, up 20%, marking an almost-two-month high. It last printed at $0.9, up 12.5%, on volume of 824 million shares and turnover of $738 million. SENSETIME-W had earlier announced that it noted the recent unusual movements in the trading price and trading volume of the Class B Shares. The Board is not aware of any reasons for such price and volume movements or of any information which must be announced to avoid a false market in the Company’s securities or of any inside information that needs to be disclosed under the Securities and Futures Ordinance. SENSETIME also launched the "SenseNova 5.0" foundation model with 600 billion parameters. The new version achieved significant improvements in knowledge, mathematics, reasoning and coding capabilities, and its performance is generally comparable to GPT-4 Turbo.
