The HSI concluded the midday at 19,177, down 74 pts or 0.4%. The HSCEI sank 48 pts or 0.7% to 6,492. The HSTECH fell 50 pts or 1.3% to 3,870. The half-day turnover aggregated $44.06 billion. COUNTRY GARDEN (02007.HK) drifted 5.1% higher to $1.65 as it reportedly expected to see renewal in most of its syndicated loans due in July. Other Chinese property developers executed well. KWG GROUP (01813.HK) rallied 11%. LONGFOR GROUP (00960.HK), R&F PROPERTIES (02777.HK) and SINO-OCEAN GP (03377.HK) spiked 3.4%-3.9%. Techs broadly retreated. BABA-SW (09988.HK) lost 1.6% to $82.7. TENCENT (00700.HK) faded 1.5% to $330.6. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) decreased 1.3% and 1.8%. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) and KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) dived 2.7% and 3.3%.
