HSTECH receded 2.4% to last at 4,950, with 30 constituents giving back early gains broadly. GDS-SW (09698.HK) and NIO-SW (09866.HK), in particular, slid 7.5% and 6.1%.

TENCENT (00700.HK) retreated 5% to $359.2, after its substantial shareholder Naspers announced orderly disposal of TENCENT shares.

JD-SW (09618.HK) tumbled 4.4% to $253.6, following Naspers' completion of disposal of JD.com (JD.US)'s shares acquired from TENCENT.

MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and BABA-SW (09988.HK) ebbed back almost 3-4%. BILIBILI-SW (09626.HK) slipped 5% to $215.6.

Standing at odds, BYD ELECTRONIC (00285.HK) surged over 8% to $25.15 as report said that Apple (AAPL.US)'s network adapter will be manufactured by BYD.
