BMW China lowered the suggested retail prices for several main models starting 1 January 2026, according to Chinese media. The affected models include both flagship and entry-level vehicles, with reductions generally exceeding 10%. Some models received price cuts of up to over RMB300,000.

This price adjustment is a 'systematic value upgrade,' aiming to lower the car purchase threshold, enhance brand affinity and increase market competitiveness, BMW stated.
