Thailand's Gambling Legalization May Face Halt as New PM Opposes Economic Boost Through Casinos

The previous Thai government had planned to push for the legalization of gambling, allowing casinos to be set up inside large entertainment complexes. Thailand's new Prime Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, however, stated that he doesn't agree with stimulating the economy through gambling activities.
