Gold prices broke through the US$3,400 per ounce mark, hitting another new high and driving all gold miners to rise. ZIJIN MINING (02899.HK) swelled 6%, while ZHAOJIN MINING (01818.HK) elevated 6.3%. SD GOLD (01787.HK) surged 11.3%, while LINGBAO GOLD (03330.HK) ballooned 6.4%. CHINAGOLDINTL (02099.HK) jumped up 6.78%, while SPDR GOLD TRT (02840.HK) leaped 3.87%. Other metal resources stocks also boomed. JIANGXI COPPER (00358.HK) mounted 3%, while MMG (01208.HK) advanced 3.48%. CMOC (03993.HK) mushroomed 6.7%, while CHALCO (02600.HK) climbed 2%.
