LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) released the first official images of its BEV SUV model i8, which adopts a “bullet nose” design similar to that of MEGA, while the rear design is closer to that of Li L9, according to a research report published by CLSA. The broker believed that both the release timing and vehicle design of the SUV i8 are beyond the market consensus. The market's expectations for the i series were not high due to the repeated delays in the release of the BEV SUV and the early exposure of some images. The difference between the earlier picture exposure and the official picture, especially the rear of the model, is very consistent with the mainstream aesthetic preference, CLSA added.
