Tencent Nintendo Switch announced that the operations of the Nintendo eShop and other network-related services for the Nintendo Switch in China will be gradually ended from March 31 to May 15 next year, Chinese media reported. TENCENT (00700.HK) partnered with Nintendo to sell the Switch console in China in December 2019, and announced in November 2024 that the Nintendo eShop and other network-related services for this console in China will gradually stop in 2026, at which point games will be unable to download and online play will be unavailable.
