The HSI opened 142 points or 0.7% higher at 19,842. The HSCEI opened 38 points or 0.5% higher at 7,202. The HSTECH opened 29 points or 0.7% higher at 4,545. BANK OF CHINA (03988.HK) aimed to provide special comprehensive financial support of no less than RMB1 trillion to help the development of the AI industry chain. SMIC (00981.HK) climbed 2.4%. For other techs, BABA-W (09988.HK) and MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) added 1% and 1.5%, while TENCENT (00700.HK) and XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) picked up 0.5% and 0.7%. BIDU-SW (09888.HK), NTES-S (09999.HK) and KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) lifted 0.1-0.3%, while JD-SW (09618.HK) ebbed 0.5%. For autos, GEELY AUTO (00175.HK), BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) and LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) gained 1-1.5%, while NIO-SW (09866.HK) lost 1.8%.
