The Hong Kong government submitted the nearly $13.3 billion Supplementary Appropriation (2023-2024) Bill to the Legislative Council (LegCo), requesting to arrange for the Bill to receive its first reading at the 30 October LegCo meeting. The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB) submitted to the LegCo a draft bill which seeks to obtain $13.293 billion from the general government revenue for government expenditure on services for the financial year ended 31 March 2024.
