XPENG-W Plans to Achieve L4-level 'Autonomous Driving' in Certain Scenarios by 2026

Liyun Li, head of the autonomous driving team at XPENG-W (09868.HK) (XPEV.US), noted that future competition in autonomous driving will focus on cloud technology. XPENG-W's upcoming foundation cloud model will have 80 times the parameters of the vehicle model and possess time and space comprehension capabilities. It is expected that cloud computing power will exceed 10 EFlops by 2025. Li also remarked that the XPeng P7+ model will no longer differentiate between Max and Pro versions, and the entire series will come standard with AI intelligent driving features. XPENG-W plans to achieve L3-level intelligent assisted driving with less than one intervention per 100 km by 3Q25, and L4-level autonomous driving in certain low-speed scenarios by 2026.
