CN MOC: CN Home Appliances Trade-in Policy Drives Sales of RMB69.09B Now

The 31 provinces (districts and municipalities) in China and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) have now activated the policy of providing additional support for the trade-in of home appliances, and formulated an implementation plan to dovetail with the central policy. As of yesterday (15th), 20.667 million consumers applied for the scheme, while 10.134 million consumers purchased 14.624 million units of home appliances in the 8 major categories, enjoying a central subsidy of RMB13.17 billion and boosting the sales of RMB69.09 billion, according to the national home appliance trade-in data platform of the Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
