Last month, NEW WORLD DEV (00017.HK) had announced the sale of a series of K11 management company businesses, along with the exclusive rights to enter into the definitive agreements related to the provision of project management and consultancy services, to AC Group Limited, a wholly-owned company of non-executive vice-chairman Adrian Cheng, for a consideration of $209 million. According to information from the Companies Registry cited by Ming Pao, a new company named "K11 Concepts Management Limited" was recently registered by K11-related parties, with Richard Cheung, K11 Group's Executive Vice President and New World Development Group's Senior Director of Group Customer Ecosystem, serving as a director.
