CKA's 1st-time Buyer Project on Anderson Rd. Misses Steel Bars in Construction; Building Dept Confirms Report Received

The first-time buyer property on Anderson Road in Kwun Tong being constructed by CK ASSET (01113.HK) is missing at least four steel bars for its block three, HK01 reported. The construction on the site has ceased since last Saturday (28th). The Buildings Department confirmed receipt of the public's report and confirmed at the end of last month that the reinforcement of six beams in the building in question was inconsistent with the building plan. The Department stressed that the entire building was not obviously dangerous, having instructed the structural engineer and registered contractor to submit a report. Work can only resume after the department is satisfied with the report. CKA responded that the bar fixing and reinforcement work on the building is still in progress and has not been completed, and it has not been inspected by the structural engineer of the project.
