BYD COMPANY Plans to Recall Total 96,714 EVs

BYD Auto Industry Company Limited and BYD Auto Co., Ltd., both are subsidiaries of BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) (002594.SZ), filed a recall plan with the authority and decided to recall vehicles from today (30th) upon request, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR).

BYD COMPANY intended to recall certain domestic Dolphin and Yuan PLUS EVs manufactured between 4 February 2023 and 26 December 2023, totaling 87,762 vehicles.

Meanwhile, BYD COMPANY planned to recall certain domestic Yuan PLUS EVs manufactured between 2 November 2022 and 19 June 2023, totaling 8,952 vehicles.
