MoFA: CN Hopes Europe to Act with Sincerity, Consider CN's Reasonable Concerns & Proposals

In response to the EU's anti-subsidy investigation of Chinese electric vehicles (EVs), Lin Jian, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), said at a regular press conference that China has always been committed to resolving the issue through dialogue and consultation with the utmost sincerity, and has proposed flexible solutions. However, Europe, while claiming to be willing to iron out differences through dialogue, has continuously rejected China's proposals and has never offered any concrete counterproposals. China hoped that Europe will take concrete actions to demonstrate its sincerity and seriously consider the reasonable concerns and suggestions of the Chinese industry. If the European Commission is bent on having its own way, China will take the necessary measures to firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises and industries.
