Chanel's Fashion Show to be Held in HK in Nov

Following the men's show of Louis Vuitton, Chanel announced to hold its "Early Spring 2024/25 Holiday Collection" fashion show in Hong Kong on November 5, having picked the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) as the venue. Sunny Tan, a Member of the Legislative Council representing the Textiles and Garment functional constituency, said that a succession of international brands have chosen Hong Kong as the "foothold" for fashion shows, which proves Hong Kong's competitiveness on the international stage. It also reflects that Hong Kong has the conditions to serve as the pioneering fashion and textile hub and brand exchange center in Asia, opined Tan, adding that it gives strong assurances for the Hong Kong fashion industry and can promote tourism, trade and other peripheral industries.
