A British court permitted Ding Yumei, the ex-wife of EVERGRANDE (03333.HK) Founder Hui Ka Yan, to receive GBP20,000 (about HKD204,095) a month after her assets were frozen in a lawsuit by Evergrande's liquidators.

The lawsuit seeks to recover about HKD2.8 billion that Ding received in the form of dividends between 2018 and 2020 through two companies she wholly owned.

According to court documents dated August 29, Ding had more than USD4 million in a bank account in the U.K. and resided in a luxury apartment in London.
