Bloomberg reported that Turkey is working with China to develop rare earth resources. If the two sides reach a cooperative relationship, it may enhance Turkey's attractiveness to Chinese electric vehicle companies and battery manufacturers.

The report cited sources familiar with the matter as saying that Turkey's Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar will lead a delegation to China for high-level talks in October this year, and expects to attract Chinese car companies such as BYD to produce electric car batteries in Turkey.
