GEELY AUTO (00175.HK)'s new energy vehicle brand ZEEKR (ZK.US) said the recent rumour that "a ZEEKR employee was fired for mocking the company's smart driving system, with their posts removed" is not true.

According to ZEEKR, after investigation, it was found that the employee leaked screenshots of internal forum posts and replies, violating the company's information security system and causing significant impact. After sufficient communication, the company terminated the labour contract, in accordance with the relevant regulations, for the employee's violation of taking internal forum screenshots and leaking them.

ZEEKR pointed out that the relevant posts can still be viewed and replied to in the internal forum and have not been deleted. The company encourages employees to provide feedback through internal compliance channels, and also encourages and recognises the forum rules such as the free-flowing atmosphere and anonymous discussion among internal employees.
