In a bid to avoid repeating past scandals, PwC has ceased operations in over ten countries deemed by its global leadership as too small, too risky, or unprofitable, according to the Financial Times.

As indicated by the report, PwC severed ties with its 10 member firms in Francophone Africa earlier this month because of growing disagreements with local partners.

Local management, as revealed by insiders, claimed they lost over a third of their business in recent years due to pressure from PwC's global leadership, prompting them to negotiate an exit since last year.
