A U.S. Chamber of Commerce survey revealed that among approximately 40 of its members surveyed, about 70% plan to maintain or increase their business operations in China or dealings with China. Concurrently, 83% of the 56 respondents identified China as the "most concerning region".

Meg Rithmire, a Harvard Business School professor who co-authored the report, noted that U.S. companies are not withdrawing from China on a large scale, however businesses are also taking the risks posed by China seriously.
