Some investors asked CATL (300750.SZ) +4.150 (+1.853%) on irm.cninfo.com.cn whether XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) -0.100 (-0.231%) Short selling $1.10B; Ratio 15.651% 's SU7 car that was involved in an accident occurred on 29 March used CATL's battery, to which CATL replied that it was not its battery, according to Chinese media.

A Xiaomi SU7 vehicle crashed into a guardrail and caught fire on a highway in Anhui last Saturday (29 Mar). A netizen claiming to be a relative of the deceased stated that the car doors were locked during the accident, and a battery explosion resulted in the three occupants being burned to death.
