CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK)  -0.030 (-0.335%)    Short selling $3.18M; Ratio 14.730%   announced that on Friday (21st), flights "CX239" and "CX253" from Hong Kong International Airport to London's Heathrow Airport have been canceled. All Cathay Pacific flights from London to Hong Kong on the same day have also been canceled.

Cathay Pacific has posted a notice on its official website, offering flexible ticket arrangements for all passengers affected by the closure of Heathrow Airport.

Heathrow Airport announced this morning that it was experiencing a major power outage due to a fire at the substation that supplies electricity to the airport and will be closed for the entire day on Friday.
