Macau Tourism Chief Forecasts 630K+ Visitors During May Day Golden Week

Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macau Government Tourism Office, forecast daily visitor arrivals from mainland China during the five-day May Day Golden Week to range between 127,000 and 140,000, totaling approximately 630,000 to 700,000 visitors, Radio Macau (TDM) reported. She revealed that the authorities will collaborate with the industry to manage tourism effectively, encouraging businesses to offer more products for visitors. Attending concerts has become a key reason for young travelers visiting Macau, she added, expressing hope that visitors will explore various districts to boost the local business environment.
