Alibaba Cloud released Qwen2.5-Omni-7B, the first end-to-end full-modal foundation model in the Tongyi family. Designed for comprehensive multimodal perception, the model can handle text, images, audio, video, and other multimodal inputs, generating real-time text and natural language responses. It is expected to set a new benchmark for deploying multimodal AI on terminal devices such as smartphones and laptops. The model is now open-sourced on Hugging Face and GitHub and is accessible through Qwen Chat and Alibaba Cloud’s open-source community, ModelScope.
