XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) opened its first permanent store in Japan, "Xiaomi Store", last Saturday (22nd), Kyodo News reported. Located at in Saitama City, Japan, the store sells over 160 products, including smartphones, televisions, vacuum cleaners, and kitchen appliances, while also showcasing items available through e-commerce channels. Xiaomi’s second permanent store in Japan, situated at Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, is said to open on April 5. The company plans to establish 5-10 stores in Japan within the year.
