Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) earlier commissioned a consultancy to conduct the Affluent Travel Study 2025, which interviewed 1,090 affluent and high net worth Hong Kong people. The survey found that over 70% of respondents used miles to redeem or upgrade to business class.

The bank is committed to maintaining its position as the preferred bank for wealth management and spending for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), Anshul Sabherwal, Head of Credit Card and Personal Loan at Standard Chartered Hong Kong, said.

Last year, 40% of Standard Chartered's clients redeemed miles for First and Business class tickets, demonstrating how clients effectively use miles to enhance their travel experiences.
