The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and 3 other departments published a notice announcing the first batch of pilots for the large-scale application of vehicle-to-grid (V2G).

After expert evaluation, the first batch of pilots for the large-scale application of V2G was included in the scope of 9 cities, namely Shanghai, Changzhou, Hefei, Huaibei, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Haikou, Chongqing and Kunming, and 30 projects like the “Shanghai Municipal Heavy Truck Charging and Battery Swapping Station V2G City Networking Pilot Project” and the “Shenzhen-Hong Kong V2G Pilot Project”.
