Shanghai Mayor Gong Zheng has published an article in the Study Times, mentioning his resolve to put significant efforts into stimulating potential consumption.

By aligning with new trends in consumption transformation, Gong said that Shanghai will focus on implementing special actions to boost consumption and building an international consumption center city, with an aim to actively promote commodity consumption while placing greater emphasis on expanding and enhancing service consumption and employing multiple measures to unleash the potential for expanded consumption.
