In response to the US government's arms sales to Taiwan, the Chinese government announced that it had included 10 entities in the unreliable entity list to safeguard its national sovereignty, security, and development interests.

A spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce stated that in recent years, companies such as TCOM, Limited Partnership and Stick Rudder Enterprises LLC have ignored China's strong opposition, either participating in arms sales to Taiwan or engaging in so-called military technology cooperation with Taiwan, inflicting serious damage on China's national sovereignty, security, and development interests.
