At least six local employees from the logistics department of a Macau casino have sought help from a Legislative Assembly member, claiming they were unjustly dismissed on February 28 as they were not provided with any reason for dismissal or options for job transfer, according to Allin News.The report quoted Macau Legislative Assembly member Ron Lam U Tou as saying that rumors had already circulated within the industry at the beginning of the year that the Macau government had allowed casinos to lay off staff.
