During her opening remarks on the "Development Blueprint for Hong Kong’s Tourism Industry 2.0", Rosanna Law, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, mentioned that around 4.74 million visitors arrived in Hong Kong in January this year and, among which, about 3.73 million were from the mainland, marking a YoY growth of 24% and 25% respectively and setting a post-pandemic monthly record for both total visitors and mainland arrivals.During the first seven days of the mainland's Spring Festival Golden Week, nearly 1.25 million visitors came to Hong Kong, with over 1.06 million from the mainland and over 180,000 from other regions. The overall hotel occupancy rate reached 90%.
