WeChat updated its “Send Gift” feature to allow for gifting in group, “blue packet”, which is now available on WeChat, alongside red packet function, and occupies a “super entrance” position, according to Chinese media. Previously, WeChat's “Send Gift” function was limited to one-to-one gifting to friends in WeChat.
