Tencent Nintendo Switch announced that the operations of the Nintendo eShop and other network-related services for the Nintendo Switch in China will be gradually ended from March 31 to May 15 next year, Chinese media reported.

TENCENT (00700.HK)  -6.000 (-1.496%)    Short selling $309.01M; Ratio 5.410%   partnered with Nintendo to sell the Switch console in China in December 2019, and announced in November 2024 that the Nintendo eShop and other network-related services for this console in China will gradually stop in 2026, at which point games will be unable to download and online play will be unavailable.
