MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)  -0.900 (-0.553%)    Short selling $1.43B; Ratio 15.481%   ’s platform data showed that the sales of baijiu rallied more than 110% period on period since the launch of the Chinese New Year's Shopping Carnival from January 7 to 20, and the sales of Chinese New Year's Carnival gift boxes shot up nearly 100%, Chinese media reported.

The relevant person in charge of MEITUAN-W said that it is expected that consumers will have a demand for “30-minute delivery after placing orders for takeaways” during the Chinese New Year period.
