HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  +0.500 (+0.629%)    Short selling $95.25M; Ratio 13.346%   has decided to shut down its international payment application, Zing, a move that may affect about 400 jobs, foreign media quoted sources as saying.

Employees affected by the layoffs will be notified on Thursday (23rd), and the approx. 400 jobs affected include a large number of outsourced customer support staff, according to the report.
