Synthesia, an AI film platform, raised US$180 million in its latest round of funding, valuing the company at US$2.1 billion, CNBC reported. The startup was valued at US$1 billion when it raised its last round of funding in 2023. The platform uses AI to generate multilingual human avatars.

Synthesia said this round of financing was led by venture capital firm NEA, with participation from Atlassian Ventures, World Innovation Lab and PSP Growth.
