Despite the market volatility, Goldman Sachs will remain Overweight on both onshore and offshore Chinese stocks, a team led by Kinger Lau, Chief China Equity Strategist at Goldman Sachs, issued a report saying.

With tariffs and policy outlook for further confirmation, market sentiment and liquidity may begin to improve at the end of 1Q25, while the MSCI China Index is expected to rise by about 20% by the end of the year.

In addition, Goldman Sachs kept rating at Overweight on online retail, media and healthcare equities, while upgrading consumer services stocks to Overweight.
