According to data from China's National Civil Aviation Work Conference, the industry achieved an overall turnaround of profitability in 2024 by reducing losses by RMB20.6 billion YoY.

The daily aircraft utilization rate was 8.9 hours, up 0.8 hours YoY, while the regular flight passenger load factor grew by 5.4 ppts YoY to 83.3%, 0.1 ppt higher than in 2019. The cargo load factor increased by 4.3 ppts YoY to 72%, 0.4 ppts higher than in 2019.
