BYD has pledged to comply with labor laws for the remaining workers staying in the country.Last month, 163 workers employed by BYD's contractor Jinjiang were found by Brazilian labor authorities to be working under "slavery-like conditions". These workers have either left or are in the process of leaving Brazil after being rescued by labor authorities.
