The Guangzhou Bureau of Commerce announced that Guangzhou will continue its car trade-in program this year. The city's car scrappage and renewal subsidy policy started on January 1.

From January 1 until the national car scrappage and renewal subsidy policy is introduced in 2025, consumers who scrap their eligible old cars and purchase eligible new cars will receive a one-time subsidy.
