CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK)  -0.030 (-0.312%)    Short selling $1.89M; Ratio 7.443%   announced that on December 15, 2024, Cathay Pacific and HK Express, the group’s two passenger airlines, carried a combined total of 100,856 passengers, surpassing the 100,000-passenger mark on a single day. The group exceeded the 100,000-passenger mark on a total of eight days from December 15 to 31.

CATHAY PAC AIR CEO Ronald Lam expressed his satisfaction with the successful completion of the two-year rebuilding journey and said that a new chapter has now begun for Cathay.

CATHAY PAC AIR also added that Cathay Pacific and HK Express, together as a group, have reached 100% of pre-pandemic flights from this month. It is projected that the two airlines will operate passenger services to 100 destinations around the world within 2025.
