China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued the "Implementation Plan for the Upgraded Version of the '5G+ Industrial Internet' 512 Project", proposing that "5G+ Industrial Internet" will be widely integrated into key sectors of the real economy by 2027.

The plan specified that the capabilities in five areas, namely network infrastructure, technology products, integrated applications, industrial ecosystem, and public services, will be comprehensively enhanced with the construction of 10,000 5G factories and the development of no less than 20 pilot cities for "5G+ Industrial Internet" integrated applications.
